Bird Management Announces Purchase of Shares by Management and Directors

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bird Global, Inc. (NYSE: BRDS, “Bird”), a leader in environmentally friendly electric transportation, today announced completed purchases of BRDS Class A common stock on the open market by certain officers and directors: Chief Executive Officer Shane Torchiana and Chairman and Founder Travis VanderZanden, totaling over 1.5 million shares purchased.

"Senior leadership has continued to purchase shares due to the disconnect between share price and our expectation to increase long-term value by generating free cash flow," said Shane Torchiana, CEO, Bird. "Coming off of our best ever Q1 performance in gross margin, free cash flow, and adjusted EBITDA, we are optimistic about our ability to reach profitability as the weather improves from the winter months."
